Z-Team is a rider-led privateer racing project launching in 2027, with a vision to reach the highest levels of mountain biking. Bringing together performance, storytelling and brand partnerships while creating a platform for people to be apart of the journey.
I'm pursuing a serious ambition through an unconventional path, documenting the work and uncertainty honestly, and building a team around the belief that where you start doesn't have to determine where you finish.
About Zack
Zack Wilson's journey in mountain biking is built on passion, resilience and the belief that your starting point doesn't have to define your future.With no family background in the sport, Zack discovered mountain biking just three and a half years ago. What began as an unconventional introduction quickly became something much bigger: a passion that gave him purpose, challenged his limits and reignited a childhood dream of becoming a professional athlete.After extraordinary progress in less than a year lead him to an assistant coaching position with Ride Technics at the end of 2023 before becoming lead coach in early 2024. The experience gained through coaching juniors has reinforced his belief in the power of using mountain biking or any passion to build confidence, create meaningful connections and positively impact other peoples lives far beyond the trails.In the latter half of 2025, an opportunity emerged that challenged him to reconsider his own path. It prompted the decision to shift his focus back towards racing, committing to the pursuit of his childhood dream and the work required to make it a reality.His journey represents the belief that irrespective of your background, age or circumstances it does not define who you are, your starting point or your destination. It's about having the courage to pursue something meaningful, embracing setbacks and refusing to let expectations dictate what's possible.Beyond racing, Zack wants to use his platform to advocate for mental health, inspire the next generation and show that mountain biking can be about far more than results. It's about finding purpose, building resilience and discovering what you're capable of when you back yourself.His goal is not simply to reach the professional ranks, but to build a journey that inspires others to pursue their own ambitions regardless of where they start.Work with people I trust
WHY INVEST WITH ZACK?
Imagine you are sitting at home or your child is sitting at home, struggling to find their place in the world. Searching for a purpose, searching for direction and something that makes them feel like they belong. Now imagine they find it. Something that gives them a reason to get up, push forward and believe in what they could become.
For me, that was mountain biking.
Growing up, I didn't have someone to look up to or a journey to follow that showed me what was possible. I had to find my own way. What started as a way through difficult times became a passion, a purpose and a future worth fighting for.
Now, I want my journey to become that inspiration for someone else. For the young person who discovers my story, picks up a bike and finds something that changes their life, just as it changed mine. I want to be the person that I wished I had when I was their age.
I'm building Z-Team to pursue professional enduro racing, but the ambition extends beyond results. It's about showing what's possible when you back yourself, keep pushing and have the courage to chase something bigger.

Partnering with Ty Newcomb from Eye.Of.Ty is about capturing the reality behind the pursuit. My journey hasn’t followed the conventional path, and together we plan to document every bit of it as it unfolds. The decisions we make, the uncertainty, the risks and everything that goes into building a future in racing when there is absolutely no guaranteed outcome of where it’ll lead to. Irrespective of that we’d rather give everything we have to the project than never attempt it and be left wondering what might have been. It's about telling the story as it's lived, not creating a version of it for the camera.For future sponsors, that means the opportunity to become part of our journey from the ground up.
